Okay, I've been misjudging this episode for too long! 
I always avoided it because I didn't like the humour, but I finally watched it again after forever, and couldn't believe myself!
Danny is so sweet in this eppie!
I absolutely melted when he offered to wear that crazy NB costume for the day, to say he was sorry to Val. Especially since she was hypocritical and being just as nasty as she accused Danny of being.
It didn't actually show Danny offering to take the job, so this is my interpretation

Danny Phantom episode 18. Valerie and Danny are assigned to watch over a sack of flour like a baby, only to get captured by Skulker. Though they're meant to be enemies because ghosts ruined Valerie's socialite life, they manage to work together. Despite getting a C for their project, Danny offers to help Valerie by dressing up in the Nasty Burger outfit.
